CDawg, Kentucky’s very own rapper and lyricist, shares a new motivation-inspirational song titled ‘Back’.
Real name Christopher A Warner, the Louisville rap act CDawg started his musical journey in 2021. Curbing inspirations from the likes of Ice Cube, Kanye West and Childish Gambino, he metamorphosed into a distinct sound whilst integrating elements of trap. In the process of creating, Christopher also tends fuse infectious beats with his versatile lyricism.

Through the years, he debuted with ‘Clownin’ in 2021, then ‘Q1 Report’ and ‘Private Section (Outer Space)’ in 2022. Following that, CDawg took a break in 2023. Commencing this year with freestyles —‘Opening Day’/‘Slickback’ alongside ‘Locked In Flow’ in July, Warner is ‘Back’—bringing some feel-good energy.
On ‘Back’, the 2-minute track kicks off with an instrumental that pulls you in right away. Released through his label CW Music Group, the production is super clean with some hip-hop classic vibes thrown in to give listeners a soothing experience.
