Do you like old-school music with a comedic vibe? If you don’t now, you will after you hear this track! This track, “Full Life Crisis” by The MC Type (ft. Sage Francis), really caught my attention when I heard it. It gives me a nostalgic vibe that you would get with an old track from your favorite sports game. A great old-school and modern mix of styles, as well as a great vocal mix, really help this track shine.
The MC Type is a rapper, singer, and comedian who resides in New Zealand, although he is from America. He is known for his wild song concepts and hilarious music videos. His prime in music dates back to 2007-2014, when he lived in Seattle, Washington. During that time, he went on rap tours and opened for artists like Prof, Grieves, and Mac Lethal. Type took a decade away from music to focus on TV commercial writing but is returning with his new album Lucky Silverback on April 20th. He says the album is his own way of saying screw you to people who try to censor what we can joke about these days!
You can check out The MC Type on many different platforms, but this link will take you to his Bandcamp page: Music | The MC Type. I love seeing smaller artists perform well and grow. The MC Type is definitely an artist that I would deem worthy of growth and support!
