Discover the Music of Shobsy – ‘Champagne’ [Music Review]

Shobsy, the Irish prince of Pop, has released the supernova pop song ‘Champagne.’

Hailing from Dublin, Shobsy is known for being lead singer of the now-resolved rock band State Lights. With that aside, he is now driving for solo success after the group became something of a COVID casualty. He recently inked a publishing deal with Pangea International Music, following his performance at the International Music Industry Person Of The Year awards.

Shobsy’s previous four releases are ‘Vanity’, ‘Driven’, ‘The Way We Are’ and ‘Entertainment.’ Collectively, they received rave and controversial reviews by both the Irish and international media. ‘Entertainment’ was Track of the Week and Record of the day on RTÉ 2fm. His acoustic performance of Bronski Beat’s ‘Smallwon Boy’ at Ireland’s Biggest TV show The Late Late Show amassed over 100k views in 12 hours and brought extra attention to the Irish songster.

Shobsy new single ‘Champagne’ is an addictive pop track about late-night shenanigans. The track Shobsy describes as a love song is also dedicated to Champagne and showcases the singer’s incredible vocals. Unveiled under his imprint Shobsy Records, it combines good sonics, a subtle but irresistible bass-driven rhythm, and a soulful beat. This is a song that can be termed infectious.
