Of all the things that have attracted people’s attention, the emergence of new content creators and influencers has made the maximum headlines. Today, the classic example of such an influencer. App creator and a leading aerial/drone photographer from NYC is Akil Henley. Aka Traveldronelife. This man created a flourishing career for himself all on his own by relying on his hard work. Strong self-belief, and also absolute resolve to take the photography. And app creation niche to greater heights of success.
Akil Henley grew up in NYC, the Bronx. And his early inclination towards all things creative and artistic. Like playing music at a young age. Sparked his interest in the arts. Which led him to learn more about photography and capture life from a different perspective. He confesses that he always admired nature and was also curious to know how everything people see can have an even impressive perspective from the sky.
His passion for clicking incredible pictures from the top grew his follower base on Instagram from literally a couple of followers to over 20k. The lockdown around the world also pushed. And him from being only a creator to an app developer, helping other creative people. This led to the origination of the ‘nFluencer app‘. A social media app for IOS, where people can grow their influence by optimizing the several robust tools and features it offers as an all-in-one influencer app.
As an African American photographer and creator. He has been to more than 46 countries and almost every continent. As a drone photographer, Akil Henley explains how when he sees a beach. He doesn’t see it as only sand and water hitting his feet. But he sees it from 100 feet above the air and how the ground forms a shape that can only be seen from above.
He recalls how his page blew up in 2018 during the French protest when the Eiffel Tower page reposted his picture of a storming France in their story. This led many local Parisian periodicals to reach out to him for using that picture in their publications. Again, in 2019 the NYC Instagram page reposted several of his photographs in their stories which caught the eye of NYC artist Elizabeth Sutton. Who requested him to picture one of her artworks on Roosevelt island. Since then, he has photographed from the drone several countries and many states across the US.
