The story behind Andrew’s career in the insurance industry is quite interesting. Initially. He used to work in a large supermarket as a grocery bagger. One day a client gave him a book named “Rich dad poor dad” by Robert Kiyosaki to read and that very book opened his eyes about leverage and passion income.
One of his high school friends Paul introduced him to the insurance industry and he started his career in that industry when he was just 18 years old. Andrew partnered with Family first life back in the year 2014 as an agent. Andrew had a high compensation level and also allowed him to have leads. Training and a lot of stuff that other insurance companies don’t provide in the industry. In the first year of Andrew’s working with Family First Life, he was able to clear over $500,000 and became a top agent not just in FFL, but the industry as a whole.
“The biggest challenge I faced was caring about what others thought about me and what I was doing. I changed my goals to meet what they wanted me to do. I also changed the circle of friends and influences I was around. Had to mature and grow up to become a businessman. Once I realized that people wanted me to stay in mediocrity; I had limit time spent with them.” says Andrew. “I had to teach agents how not to make the same mistake that I did. What kept me running when I hit adversity was that I knew my only backup plan was going back to bagging groceries or going to college, accumulating debt, and not having a job to pay it off. So, whatever I was doing and however bad it was, it wasn’t going to be as bad as that. ”
Therefore, through complete consistency and hard work, Andrew Taylor was able to establish a lifestyle where he was able to protect many families through his profession and also made a decent living for himself and his family.
