Neela: ‘Easy On You’ (prod. by Chin Injeti) [Music Review]

Toronto-based recording artiste Neela, displays unique lyricism in her new offering ‘Easy On You‘.

Born and raised in Vancouver as Neela Khare, her musical art traverse human carnal desires, alongside their feelings. Khare’s sound is an embodiment of soul, truth, raw and likewise elements of indie-r&b.

The songstress’ creativity, in 2019, punctured the sight of Chin Injeti, a 3x Grammy Award-winning producer/hip-hop guru. Joining forces together, the duo birthed her second extended play (EP) ‘Prelude‘ on September 2021.

‘Easy On You‘ serves as the third track off the project. It is a pensive and appealing rhythm and blues song, with a mix of pop — acting as a figurative call to liberty, for all women feeling forced or overly controlled.
