Persian-American rapper, singer and songwriter Sheen pens heartfelt lyricism in his latest single ‘Makaveli’s Son.’

Born Afsheen Sorurbakhsh and based in Houston, Sheen relates about the daily ups and downs in the Bryant Troy-produced track. Tagged as a hustler anthem, ‘Makaveli’s Son’ pays homage to the late West Coast hip-hop rapper Tupac Shakur, his legacy and vast-known street culture.

The 2-minute rap song released under the label Saffron Records, also entails the grind of someone who puts in work regardless of the difficulties been brought ahead in one’s life. As the duration progresses, Sheen talks about trust —“Don’t trust nobody who walk in the house with shoes on.. Be careful who you confide in, that’s how they do you wrong.

Sheen’s own space is a contrast of high-pitched silk vocals alongside infectious bars, fused with a sprinkle of hip-hop nostalgia and R&B elements fused intelligently with pop music. Watch the accompanying Tupac Shakur tribute ‘Makaveli’s Son’ music video below:
