Missouri-based hip-hop and R&B artist Julian Grae opens his album ‘Dawning On Me,’ released April 17th, with ‘Don’t You Mind.’ This song is about being vulnerable, about redemption and getting a new start in life. The song has smooth melodies, groovy rhythms, and good production.
Julian Grae (born Tyler Armstrong) is inspired by music he has loved since he was a child. Grae grew up in a family that had a church choir that toured the Bootheel of Missouri. They were called the Family Echoes, and Grae learned to love music at a young age.
Julian grew up traveling through many cities and finally settling in Columbia, Missouri, but never losing ties to Sacramento, California. Inspired by artists such as The Weeknd, Grae begins making music in 2015, following a concert that inspires him to write songs. So far he has released two mixtapes and five studio albums, including ‘Heart To Heart.’
